The Frontmen Information
Richie McDonald from Lonestar, Larry Stewart from Restless Heart, and Tim Rushlow from Little Texas are all well-known as lead singers in other country music bands, and now they're all working together as The Frontmen of Country. They had entertained troops informally during the 2010s but didn't start presenting themselves as The Frontmen of Country until 2017.
In the same year that Donald Trump was inaugurated as President of the United States, the Frontmen debuted as a performing group, singing a medley of their most successful songs at the inaugural ball. In 2018, they released their debut single, "If It Wasn't for the Radio," which coincided with several concert appearances that same year. Despite this, both McDonald and Stewart kept touring with their bands.
McDonald quit Lonestar in 2021 to concentrate on his career with The Frontmen. The three band members have now announced a string of new concert dates for the rest of the year. Stewart claims that the three of them decided to start playing together since they were big fans of one another's music. Lonestar, Restless Heart, and Little Texas songs are staples of their live sets.
