The Fixx Information
The Fixx are a group from London, England, formed in 1979 and played new wave rock music. "Are We Ourselves?", "Secret Separation," "One Thing Leads to Another," and "Saved by Zero" are some of the band's smash tunes that have reached the Top 20 on the Billboard Hot 100.
"Deeper and Deeper," "Stand or Fall," "Red Skies," and "Driven Out" are popular rock songs that were featured on the soundtrack of the 1984 film, Streets of Fire. Although the band was rather popular in the US, they were little known in their home country of the UK, where none of their albums or songs even cracked the top 40.
On January 5, 1984, the RIAA certified Reach the Beach, the group's most commercially successful album, as Platinum. Renowned producer Rupert Hine produced it. Both "Saved by Zero" and "One Thing Leads to Another," the album's lead hits, include bass work by Agius.
The band's most popular track, "One Thing Leads To Another", reached number one in Canada and the US, with the latter country's version reaching the top 40.
"Wake Up" is the name of the new single that The Fixx revealed on their website on November 5, 2021. As of its release on June 3, 2022, the song was also included on their most recent album, Every Five Seconds. Album singles "Closer" and "Woman of Flesh and Blood" round out the collection.
