Terri Clark Information
Terri Clark (August 5, 1968) is a Canadian country music artist. She was born in Montreal, Quebec. In 1987, Clark completed her graduation from Crescent Heights High School. She has gained success in both Canada and the United States. In 1995, Clark signed a record deal with Mercury Records. She released her debut single entitled “Better Things to Do” and a self-titled debut album. The single managed to reach the top five in both Canada and the United States.
Clark also featured the singles “Suddenly Single,” “If I Were You,” and “When Boy Meets Girl.” Her debut album was certified Gold by the RIAA on April 5, 1996, in the United States. She released a single “Poor Poor Pitiful Me” from her second studio album before releasing it in 1996. The album was entitled, Just the Same. She went to Calgary, Alberta, in March 1998 to film her first television special named Terri Clark: Coming Home.
In 1998, Clark released her third studio album, How I Feel. The lead single from the album entitled “Now That I Found You” reached the top five in Canada and the United States. Other studio albums released by Clark include Fearless (September 2000), Pain to Kill (2003), Life Goes On (2005), The Long Wat Home (2009), Roots and Wings (2011), Classic (2012), Some Songs (2014), Raising the Bar (2018), and It’s Christmas…Cheers! (2020).
Clark has been nominated for several awards throughout her career. In 1997, she won the Juno Awards for Best New Solo Artist.
