Tchotchke Information
Emily Tooraen on guitar and vocals, Eva Chambers on bass, and Anastasia Sanchez on drums make up Tchotchke. Both Sanchez and Chambers made their first recordings for the Innovative Leisure label as members of the teen-favorite Los Angeles band Pinky Pinky. At 22, the New York City-based group welcomes a new era with a new name, home territory, line-up, and music.
The Lemon Twigs brothers Brian and Michael D'Addario recorded their first "Dizzy" single in their Long Island home. This is the first recording to include The Twigs as producers. Sanchez explained that the tune was about rekindling old romances and the possibility that a second chance at love maybe even better.
The band's "Dizzy" music video was shot by Hilla Eden, a friend of the band's, on Super 8. Bloody boxing action featuring Anastasia, Eva, and Emily, with additional in-ring performance shots. Grandpa "Papi" Chambers appears as the ring card guy in the video. The footage was captured at Jersey City, New Jersey's Heavy Hitter Gym.
