T Graham Brown Information
T. Graham Brown (October 30, 1954) is an American country music singer born in Arabi, Georgia. Brown relocated to Nashville in 1982 and has since sung jingles for McDonald's, Disneyland, Budweiser, Coors, Stroh's, Almond Joy, Hardee's, Kentucky Fried Chicken, The Nashville Network, Coca-Cola, Sears, Dodge Trucks, Ford, Dr. Pepper, Mountain Dew, and many more corporations.
He also narrated the Taco Bell "Run For the Border" commercials as a singer. Before Brown signed with Capitol Records in 1984, he worked as a songwriter for E.M.I. Publishing. For thirteen years, he served as an E.M.I. employee. In its first week of release, Brown's "Drowning in Memories," his debut for the label, reached No. 39 on the Billboard Country charts. His debut album's title track, "I Tell It Like It Used To Be," peaked at number 7, followed by "I Wish That I Could Hurt That Way Again," which peaked at No. 4. This was followed by "Hell and High Water" and "Don't Go To Strangers," both of which reached No. 1.
Drowning in Memories, Brown's debut single for the label, reached No. 39 on the charts and was never placed on an album. Next up was the debut single from his 1986 album of the same name, "I Tell It Like It Used to Be," which peaked at position No. 7. From this album stemmed not only the title tune, which peaked at No. 3 but also "Hell and High Water," "I Wish That I Could Hurt That Way Again," and "Don't Go to Strangers," all of which reached No. 1.
