SunSquabi is an American hydro-funk band based in Colorado. The current lineup of the band includes Chris Anderson (drums), Josh Fairman (bassist and synthesizer), and Kevin Donohue (guitars, keyboards, and production). The group has been delivering a unique experience to its audience since they have started playing live shows, presenting various genres in their music. Their fans love their ever-evolving sound, whether it is on the live stage or in the studio.
SunSquabi has gained international attention for its unique and entertaining way of producing music. Their live shows are described as an “Electronic Hydro Funk Experience.” SunSquabi always analyzes and continues to break down the expectations of a “Live-Electronic” band.
In January 2019, SunSquabi released its studio album entitled “Instinct,” a ten-track LP that took the band members to their highest peak. The group has been dedicated to the evolution of capturing elements in a live performance in the studio, such as improvisational jams. The band’s albums include Live 2019 (2020), Deluxe EP (2017), Odyssey EP (2016), and SunSquabi (Live at Red Rocks) (2018).
