Streetlight Cadence Information
Streetlight Cadence is a four-member vocal and instrumental group comprised of Jonathon Franklin, Brian Webb, Jesse Shiroma, and Chaz Umamoto. The ensemble, which has been described as "alternative folk-pop," takes influence from various musical styles. They play original and cover songs, spanning from the mainstream to the classical genres.
Streetlight Cadence began as an idea to make enough money to buy food one night under the bright Waikiki streetlights. It's evolved into a singing clan now. Friends, fans, a shared love of music, and a healthy dose of dumb luck have helped the ensemble transition from the streets to the stage.
They are common sights on the streets of Waikiki and Chinatown and frequent the Hard Rock Cafe in Honolulu. Among their many accolades are first-place finishes at both the 2013 and 2014 editions of the Bacardi Oakheart Iron Battle of the Bands hosted by The Republik on Oahu, as well as the 2014 Global Hard Rock Rising Battle of the Bands' Honolulu leg.
