Still, Woozy is an indie-pop sensational project. The mastermind behind this masterpiece is Sven Gamsky. Gamsky is a twenty-five-year-old guy from Oakland, California, who creates a unique style of music in his garage. He creates music mixed with electronic instruments and acoustic. The mixture makes music laid back, funky, and abstract sound.
Sven initiated a math-rock-inspired band called “Feed Me, Jack.” In 2012, the band released its first album “Chumpfree,” and in 2016, Feed Me Jack released its last album called “Ultra Ego.” Sven then departed from the band because he felt limited. Although he was enjoying being in the band, he still chose to go solo. His decision gave him more control over his sound.
Sven is being featured on four created playlists on Spotify. He has around 830,000 followers there. His most famous songs are “Cooks” and “Goodie Bag.” Both songs have over four million streams on Spotify. His single “Lucy” featured the artist “ODIE” and received 400,000 streams. Not only this, it is still growing each day.
All of the project songs are recorded in Sven’s garage, where he has a wide range of equipment available. Sven went for his debut solo performance on December 5, 2017. There he opened for Knox Fortune. On September 4, 2017, Sven published his first video song “Cooks.” He is more focused on releasing extended plays and singles than working on full-length albums.
