Stand Atlantic Information
Stand Atlantic is an Australian pop punk band. The group's current lineup consists of Jonno Panichi, Miki Rich, David Potter, and Bonnie Fraser. The four-piece pop punk band got in the studio and released their first song, "Bulletproof Vest," in December 2012. After releasing their first song, "Romeo," in May 2013, they released a debut demo EP, Catalyst, on both physical and digital platforms. Two Australian national performances were also held to promote the EP.
The band formerly known as What It's Worth changed their moniker to Stand Atlantic in the early months of that year. The new single "Breakaway," featuring the band's new sound, was issued in March 2014 under the new moniker. A lyric video created by fans accompanied it. As November 2014 progressed, Stand Atlantic returned to the studio to record their next sample EP, A Place Apart. Jansons left the group around this time, and Ethan Mestroni joined in his stead.
In April 2015, the EP's lead song, "Wasteland," was released. Rohan Kumar did the recording for the EP, while Dave Petrovic did the mixing. In 2015, the group went on tour with As It Is, State Champs, and Young Lions. After supporting With Confidence on their 2016 tour, Cute Is What We Aim For invited them out on the road for the tenth anniversary of their record, The Same Old Blood Rush with a New Touch.
