Shamon Cassette is originally from the Kanagawa region of Japan, also where their single mother soldier reared them. When Shamon was still a teenager, he started touring in the Far East, and by the time he was a senior in high school, he already had tours under his belt with Red Man, Exhibit, and The Dogg Pound.
Shamon has a unique touring schedule between Ireland, London, and South Africa. Along this journey, they have supported tours for legendary bands like Ride, The Cure, and The Prodigy. Shamon is currently located in Los Angeles. They have performed on stages in the United States alongside artists such as Saul Williams, Kool Keith, Pussy Gillette, and Surfbort.
Shamon just returned from a tour with Foxy Shazam across the United States, including a gig at the world-famous Roxy that was completely sold out. Jaz Infinite served as producer for the newest album by Shamon, titled Blades of Steel 2.
