Sara Dufour Information
Sara Dufour takes us on a musical journey across her world, from the Francofolies de Montréal to Tadoussac, via a stop in Caraquet, with songs that whisk us away and make us wish we could stay in another world for a little while. A proud Jeannoise from Dolbeau-Mistassini, she hones her craft at Granby's National School of the Song. To get to where she is now musically, Sara Dufour walked a circuitous route that ultimately resulted in the release of her debut EP, "Le Breaker," in January 2015.
Guided by her passions, she does not stop there. Her debut album, "Dépanneur Pierrette," was released in 2016. This CD has allowed him to perform over a hundred times around the Francophone world and even further afield in Europe and the eastern regions of the continent. At the 2017 Country Gala, she was honored with the SOCAN Song of the Year award. She released her second self-titled album and played over 50 events in Quebec and New Brunswick in the spring of 2019.
A huge hit that puts Sara on the charts and airwaves, where her vibrant outlook can be showcased. The SPACQ foundation recognized her talent as a young artist by awarding her the André "Dédé" Fortin prize in the fall of 2019. Her inner fire propels her more and faster into the imaginative world that is her daily life.
