Sam Roberts Band Information
Sam Roberts band is under the leadership of Sam Roberts (October 2, 1974). He is a Canadian singer-songwriter who deals in the rock genre only. He was born in Westmount and grew up on Cedar Avenue in Pointe-Claire. He is the son of South African immigrants. Roberts attended St. Edmund Elementary School, N.D.G. and John Abbott College, and Beaconsfield, Loyola High School. Later, he went to Anne de Bellevue and McGill University.
William was Roberts' very first band that he founded in 1993. In 1998, the band changed into Northstar. Finally, his ensemble became the Sam Roberts band. On May 10, 2011, Robert released his fourth studio album, Collider. Officially, it was the first release under the band name "Sam Roberts Band." "I Feel You" was the first single by the band that was officially released on February 28 on Canadian radio.
Lo-Fantasy was the next album on November 20, 2013, by Paper Bag Records. Sam Roberts' Band released the follow-up album on April 18, 2015, entitled Counting the Days EP. Terraform was the sixth studio album on October 28, 2016. On October 16, 2020, the seventh studio album by the band was released named All of Us.
Sam Roberts' Band went on a North-American tour On September 12, 2016. The group was nominated for the Juno Award for Rock Album of the Year 2017.
