Rudimental Information
Rudimental is a British drum and bass band. The current lineup of the group consists of Piers Aggett, Kesi Dryden, and Leon "Locksmith" Rolle. They won the Brit Award and the MOBO for Best Album, and they were nominated for the Mercury Prize in 2013. At the MTV Europe Music Awards, Rudimental was nominated for Best New Act and Best UK & Ireland Act. Multiple nations, including the UK and Australia, have certified Rudimental's albums as Platinum due to their high sales.
Featuring singer John Newman, the band's 2012 hit "Feel the Love" went to the top of the UK Singles Chart and earned them a BRIT Award nomination the following year. Spark: A Burning Man Story, a documentary film released in 2013, also used "Feel the Love" for its opening titles.
In addition to "Not Giving In," which featured Newman and Alex Clare, "Waiting All Night," which featured Ella Eyre and also topped the UK chart, "Right Here," which featured Foxes, "Free," which featured Emeli Sandé, and "Powerless," which featured Becky Hill, have all been released as singles by the band. The BBC has chosen Rudimental as their summer festival band. Rudimental's self-titled debut studio album topped the UK Albums Chart and received a nomination for the Mercury Music Prize when it was released in 2013.
