Priscilla Block (August 11, 1995) is an American country music singer and songwriter. He was born in Raleigh, North Carolina. After finishing high school, she uprooted to Music City for a life in country music. Block released an original song on her Tik Tok channel in 2020. After that, it became extremely popular. When Nashville record executives heard "Just About Over You," it paved the way for her to sign with Mercury Nashville.
In 2021, after its release as a single, "Just About Over You" reached number 62 on the Billboard country singles list in the United States. When Block started, she collaborated with other songwriters on country music tunes. She also "sat for hours," taking in the music of Nashville's finest. Notable venues in Nashville where she performed include the Listening Room Cafe and Whiskey Jam. Block's first EP, named Different Route, was published in 2017. Block recruited a producer to assist her in cutting her material for the project, and they recorded it in a closet.
Block released several songs between 2016 and 2020, exploring self-appreciation and acceptance themes. Both "Thick Thighs" and "PMS" were written by Block herself. Block's sound amalgamates country, pop, and southern rock. Block has stated that he has been influenced by artists such as Kelly Clarkson, Luke Combs, Miranda Lambert, Dolly Parton, and Chris Stapleton.
