Powfu Information
Isaiah Faber (March 31, 1999) is a Canadian record producer, singer, rapper, and songwriter. He is professionally known by his stage name, Powfu. He was born in Mission, British Columbia. He sampled Beabadoobee's first track, "Coffee," for his own 2020 release, "Death Bed (Coffee for Your Head)," which came out in February of that year.
As of June 2021, the single had over 1 billion listens on Spotify and reached #23 on the Billboard Hot 100, many thanks to its virality on the TikTok video platform. A year later, Powfu signed with Columbia Records in the US and Robots + Humans in the United Kingdom and re-released the track.
On May 29, 2020, an EP titled Poems of the Past was released, which featured the song. Powfu covered Taylor Swift's "Mine" on his debut studio album, which dropped on December 2, 2022, under the title Surrounded by Hounds and Serpents.
