Paul Loren Information
Paul Loren (February 14, 1984) is an American singer, songwriter, and musician. He was born in New York. Loren began singing at three, inspired by his mother's collection of Frankie Valli and Billy Joel songs; he began playing the piano at four. In 2014, Loren kicked off his solo career with several sold-out performances at New York City's illustrious Joe's Pub with his "One-Night-Only Band."
In 2017, a single music video for the original song "I Know A Place" was released. The song was inspired by Civil Rights period songs and evoked the sad hope of Louis Armstrong's "What a Wonderful World." Numerous songs followed, including "(Gonna Take) A Little Time," which had a music video shot at Brooklyn's The Royal Palms Shuffleboard Club and premiered on Parade.com.
Loren was invited to perform at Jennifer Lopez's birthday gala in Las Vegas during this time. He also appeared on "The Tonight Show Starring Jimmy Fallon"; collaborated with the Ryan Seacrest Foundation; performed at the Stax Museum of American Soul Music in Memphis, Tennessee; and recorded at the legendary Sun Studio.
He has shared the stage with such notables as Paul Shaffer, Queen Latifah, Christie Brinkley, and Giada De Laurentiis. He has opened for and supported the tours of artists like The Temptations, singer-songwriter Brendan James, American Idol winner Taylor Hicks, and folk singer and guitarist David Bromberg.
