Passion Conference Information
Passion Conferences, which is also known as Passion and the 268 Generation and used to be called Choice Ministries, is a Christian group that Louie Giglio started in 1997. The group's signature event is its yearly convention for young people (those aged 18–25), especially those enrolled in postsecondary institutions. In addition to Passion City Church—a megachurch that also happens to be the organization's headquarters—and sixstepsrecords, the worship band Passion is also associated with the group.
Passion Conferences has run yearly national conferences since its inception. Beginning in Kyiv, Ukraine, and ending in Sydney, Australia, Passion Conferences' inaugural world tour included 17 countries in 2008. Passion Conferences has been going strong ever since, with events happening worldwide.
Four churches and venues throughout the U.S. hosted Passion 2019, including the State Farm Arena in Atlanta, the Infinite Energy Center in Duluth, Georgia, Dallas, Texas, and Washington, D.C. After returning to a single stadium, Passion 2020 took place in Mercedes-Benz Stadium in Atlanta, Georgia. The biggest Passion meeting to date drew over 50,000 participants. From the evening of January 3 until the morning of January 5, nearly 55,000 students attended Passion's third conference in 2024 at Mercedes-Benz Stadium.
