Parcels Information
Parcels is an Australian electro-pop band. The current lineup includes Louie Swain, Patrick Hetherington, Noah Hill, Anatole "Toto'' Serret, and Jules Crommelin. Before becoming Parcels, the band members had been involved in many musical endeavors together, having played in and out of several bands since they were thirteen. They experimented with bluegrass, funk, folk, and metal in various ensembles. Only Serret and Crommelin had never performed music together before joining Parcels.
Released on April 30, 2020, Live Vol. 1 is Parcels' live studio album. It is an unaltered 18-track tape recording mixed on an analog console in Berlin's Hansa Studios. Rock legends from the '70s including David Bowie and Iggy Pop have recorded at Hansa Studios, which is near the Berlin Wall's ruins.
Parcels' new single "Free" and its accompanying music video, directed by Carmen Crommelin, were released on June 15, 2021. Parcels' new single "Comingback" was released on July 28, 2021. Parcels announced the release of their second album, Day/Night, a double album, on September 15, 2021, and the single "Somethinggreater" followed on November 5 of the same year. The band also went on a global tour in 2022, stopping in several US, EU, and AU cities.
