Orchard Lounge's origin story starts in 2001, when Spencer Lokken, Bethany Lokken, and Ben Silver got together in Chicago and embarked on their musical journey. Currently, the collective consists of just Spencer and Bethany Lokken. They can play everything from sunset chill-out to bass-dropping e-funk and a variety of other futuristic sounds, and they have lit up dance floors from Mexico to Maine with their unique sets. Their goal is to make the works of the artists they respect and adore available to as many people as possible. The fact that you can't always count on seeing the Orchard Lounge DJs makes them stand out from other club DJs.
They have become well-known as a nonstop festival and touring act in recent years, often collaborating with visual artists throughout their live shows. They have shared the stage with such legends as John Talabot, Matthew Dear, Steve Bug, Aeroplane, Bonobo, DJ Krush, Lindstrom, DJ T, Jamie Jones, Booka Shade, Metro Area, and Maya Jane Coles, so it's safe to say they've come a long way from their humble beginnings. They've also had the honor of playing in front of thousands of people at illustrious locations like the Red Rocks Amphitheater, the Hammerstein Ballroom, and the Pritzger Pavillion in Chicago's Millennium Park.
