OneRepublic is an American pop-rock band. The current lineup consists of Brian Willett, Brent Kutzle, Eddie Fisher, Drew Brown, Zach Filkins, and Ryan Tedder. The band got its first commercial success as an unsigned act on Myspace.
OneRepublic released its debut studio album entitled, Dreaming Out Loud on November 20, 2007. The single of the album “Apologize” was remixed by Timbaland, becoming a huge international success. The single also reached number 1 in almost 16 countries, earning a Grammy Award nomination. Dreaming Out Loud was also certified Platinum by the RIAA.
On November 17, 2009, OneRepublic released its second album entitled, Waking Up. The album also produced notable singles such as “Good Life,” “Marchin On,” “Secrets,” and “All the Right Moves.” The single “Good Life” reached the top ten U.S. Billboard Hot 100. In 2020, the band released a new single with Kygo titled “Lose Somebody.” The track appears on Kygo’s studio album, Golden Hour. In September 2020, the band released “Wild Life” from the Disney movie Clouds. Other studio albums released include “Native” (March 22, 2013), “Oh My My” (October 7, 2016) “,” Human “(2021), and “One Night in Malibu” (2022). Their latest single includes “someday (2021), “Run” (2021) and “West Coast” (2022).
The band has sold over 16 million records worldwide and became the first big U.S. artist to accept cryptocurrency as payment for a live concert. The band has also won many music awards. They have been nominated for the Grammy Awards, World Music Awards, Billboard Music Awards, and American Music Awards.
OneRepublic has toured extensively throughout their career, including Tag This Tour (2008-2009), Good Life Tour (2010-2012), Native Tour (2013-2015), 16th Annual Honda Civic Tour (2017), and The European Tour (2022). The group has announced their “Never Ending Summer Tour” (2022) with special guest NEEDTOBREATHE.
