Nicholas James Fradiani IV (November 15, 1985) is an American singer known as Nick Fradiani. He is from Guilford, Connecticut, and the son of Nick Fradiani III. Fradiani received his first drum set when he was only two. Later, he was encouraged by his father to play the guitar and piano. Fradiani attended Southern Connecticut State University and graduated from Guilford High School in 2004. He worked as a substitute teacher while picking up gigs at the local bar whenever he got the chance.
Nick Fradiani started his professional career with the band Beach Avenue. This group earned him regional attention as the lead singer after winning the Battle of the Bands at Mohegan Sun in 2011. Some of the band's original material include Something to Believe In EP in June 2012, along with Driving That Road EP in July 2013. "Coming Your Way" and "Feel the Beat" were the two singles by the band.
Nick Fradiani took part in American Idol in 2015 and became the winner. He headlined the American Idols LIVE! Tour 2015 after this win. As a solo artist, Fradiani released his studio album entitled Hurricane on August 5, 2016. Where We Left Off is the only EP by him, was released on October 13, 2017. Some of his notable singles include "Call Me Back (RoMayo)," "Get You Home," "I'll Wait for You," and "Hallelujah."
