Matt Rogers Information
Matt Rogers (March 5, 1990) is an American television host, actor, writer, comedian, and podcaster raised on Long Island. At his senior prom, Rogers, an Islip High School student, received the title of prom king. After graduating, he continued his education and earned a BFA in dramatic writing from New York University. In 2009, Rogers began attending the Upright Citizens Brigade while joining the improvisational troupe Hammerkatz. Rogers initially met Yang while attending NYU.
Since 2016, Rogers and fellow NYU alumnus Bowen Yang have shared hosting duties for the podcast Las Culturistas. Rogers presented two television competition series in 2020.
Following the shutdown of Quibi in October 2020, the show's present situation, which had been initially renewed for a second season, is uncertain. Rogers took over as the host of the HBO Max program Haute Dog in 2020, which featured dog groomers competing for a cash prize. In his capacity as an actor, Rogers has appeared in several television programs, including Shrill, Awkwafina Is Nora from Queens, and Search Party.
