Christopher Brian Bridges (September 11, 1977) is an American actor and rapper. He is professionally known by his stage name, Ludacris born in Champaign, Illinois. In 1995, he graduated from Banneker High School in Atlanta, Georgia. He attended Georgia State University for a year of music business school in 1998–1999.
Both of Ludacris's parents are African American, and he also has Native American and English ancestry from even further back in time. He is related to Richard Pryor, the late comedian. After relocating to Atlanta at age nine, Ludacris wrote his first rap song and joined an amateur rap group.
Three NAACP Image Awards were up for grabs on January 17, 2022, with Ludacris nominated for his voice-over work as Karma's on-screen father. Based on the positive reception, Netflix ordered a second season of Karma's World, which will be released on March 10, 2022. The Together Again Tour with Janet Jackson and Ludacris was confirmed for December 2022.
After receiving approval from the Georgia Board of Regents, Georgia State University announced Ludacris would be awarded an honorary Bachelor of Science in Music Management on April 13, 2022. On May 4, 2022, he attended the commencement ceremony at Center Parc Stadium, where he also gave a speech and got the honorary degree.
