Lovefest Information
Vrnjaka Banja, Serbia, hosts the annual Lovefest music festival every first weekend of August. The festival's main stage is Fire Stage; however, five stages are used over the weekend. That's the main stage, where all the top acts perform. It's well-known for its spectacular fireworks displays and blazing cannons.
In the following four steps: the H2O Stage is the pool stage. Well-known for its constant celebrations and innovative water activities. The 99 Stage is the world's smallest performing arts stage, with space for only 99 audience members. Its nightclub vibe easily identifies it. Energy Stage is second only to the Fire Stage in terms of popularity. The Energy Stage is the only stage open until the wee hours of the morning, making it a popular spot for those looking to dance to house and afro-house music well into the morning.
Live Stage is the final stop on tour, and it's easy to spot because it's where all the biggest names in regional rock, pop, rap, and hip-hop perform live. Since its inception in 2007 as an electronic music festival, it has been run annually by a group of young adults from the surrounding community. Maceo Plex, Loco Dice, Green Velvet, and many others are just a few of the internationally renowned DJs who have played at the festival in recent years.
It is estimated that in 2017, Lovefest welcomed 100,000 attendees. According to the European Festivals Awards, it was a top contender for "Best Medium-Sized Festival" in 2017. (EFA). With the help of the Ambassador, Lovefest was named 2018's finest regional festival.
