Los Bitchos Information
Los Bitchos is an English band. The group's current lineup consists of Serra Petale, Agustina Ruiz, Josefine Jonsson, Nic Crawshaw, and Aurora Alquinta. Most of the group's performances include acoustic cumbia music from the 1970s and 1980s. In 2017, Los Bitchos was established in London as a band.
They released their first studio album, Let the Festivities Begin!, in February 2022. Before the album's release, the tracks "Good to Go!," "Las Panteras," and "Pista (Fresh Start)" were each made available as a single. In August 2022, the band will participate in the Rock en Seine music event, which takes place in France.
At the grand opening celebration held in September 2022 in Manchester for the renovated New Century Hall, Los Bitchos were the featured performers. Rolling Stone and the band refer to their sound as "instrumental psychedelic sunshine cumbia," with Rolling Stone describing their aesthetic as "a globe-trotting psychedelic surf-disco expedition."
