Lord Huron is a Los Angeles-based indie rock band from the U.S. Lord Huron first grabbed people’s attention in 2012 with the release of their debut album, Lonesome Dreams. The music felt dreamy and wide open, like the soundtrack to a long road trip through the desert. Their sound blends indie rock with folk and a hint of old Western flavor. The band is led by singer and guitarist Ben Schneider, who initially started the project on his own before recruiting additional members. Fans were drawn to the soft vocals, echoing guitars, and lyrics that felt like short stories or old legends.
As the band grew, they released more albums that built on that same style. Strange Trails was released in 2015 and included the song "The Night We Met," which later became a huge hit when it was featured on a popular TV show. That song helped bring Lord Huron to an even bigger audience. They followed it with "Vide Noir" in 2018, which featured a darker and more electric sound. In 2025, Lord Huron is back on tour, playing shows across the United States. In April and May, they performed in cities like Atlanta, Portland, and Kansas City. Their concerts include songs from all their albums, along with a few new tracks that fans are hearing live for the first time. The band will continue touring through the summer, bringing their calm, haunting sound to outdoor venues and music festivals nationwide.
