Little Dragon Information
Little Dragon is an electronic music band from Gothenburg. This Swedish band was formed in 1996. The current band members include Erik Bodin (drums), Yukimi Nagano (vocals, percussion), Håkan Wirenstrand (keyboards), and Fredrik Wallin (bass). The band was initially formed by Yukimi Nagano along with Fredrik Wallin and Erik Bodin (her seniors) when they were in high school. This trio used to meet after school to begin their mega career in music. The band's name is taken from the nickname of Nagano, "Little Dragon."
The very first release by the Little Dragon was their double A-side seven-inch vinyl single entitled "Twice"/"Test" (2006). The second album was Machine Dreams (2009) followed by Ritual Union (2011) and Nabuma Rubberband (2014), which was nominated at 57th Annual Grammy Awards for Best Dance/Electronic Album category. Season High was the fifth album by the Little Dragon.
Nabuma Purple Rubberband (2015) was a remix album by the band whereas some of its hit EPs are Twice Remix EP (2008), Blinking Pigs (2010), Ritual Union EP (2011), Little Man EP (2011), Amazon Artist Lounge (2014), Lover Chanting (2018), and a few more. Some of the notable singles by Little Dragon include Recommendation, My Step, Runabout, Ritual Union, Sunshine, Klapp Klapp, High, Sweet, and several more.
Little Dragon played its part as a featured band in Bullets (Kaytranada featuring Little Dragon), Light (Odesza featuring Little Dragon), Scale It Back (DJ Shadow featuring Little Dragon), and many more. Little Dragon also created music videos for several songs. The band's guest appearance was witnessed in several singles such as in Empire Ants, To Binge, If You Return, Thom Pettie, Wanderer, Drawn, Pressure, Minerva, Bullets, and the list goes on.
