Lilly Winwood is an English-American singer and songwriter. In 2015, she went on a vacation and landed in Nashville. Winwood spent her childhood summers there as her mother’s family was in Nashville. She planned to return home after vacation, but it was prolonged, and the vacations never ended. Her style resembles a lot of her father’s work, Steve Winwood, a classic rock legend.
Winwood released her debut EP entitled Silver Stage in 2017. Her music offers an English take on traditional American roots music backed by Nashville-via-Australia producer Joshua Barber (Roach, Archie, and Gotye). Lilly Winwood continued collaborating with fellow East-Nashville-based Americana artists such as Boo Ray. She is recognized as a world-class vocalist as well as a smart, soulful songwriter.
Winwood collaborated with Don Gallardo, a Nashville-based Americana artist, on his 7-track EP entitled, In the Name of Good Intentions. Her vocals are featured on over half the songs. She released her debut full-length studio album on January 29th, 2021, entitled “Time Well Spent.”
