Lauren Michelle Jauregui Morgado is a singer and songwriter born in Miami, Florida. Fifth Harmony, the female group she was a part of that became one of the most selling girl groups of all time, made her famous. Aside from working with Halsey, Steve Aoki, and Marian Hill, Jauregui began experimenting with new sounds and solo songwriting as a solo artist. It was in May 2018 that she began working on her music and released her first solo single, "Expectations," in October 2018.
His influences range from R&B and hip-hop of the 1990s to alternative rock and singer/songwriters such as Jauregui. Singer-songwriters and "truth and authenticity" are her primary sources of inspiration. She released the song "More Than That" recently. Tainy produced the Latin urban song "Lento," which was released in March 2020 by Jauregui, who contributed "Invisible Chains" to the soundtrack for Birds of Prey (2020). The song "50ft" was released in April 2020. On September 15, 2021, Jauregui revealed her debut solo project Prelude, and a livestream performance on Moment House was set for October 14 and 15. On November 5, 2021, Jauregui released her first solo EP, Prelude.
