Kyau and Albert Information
Before releasing his debut album, "Modulation Experiments," at the end of 1993, Ralph Kyau had his first experience with electronic music production in 1990 and acquired a reputation for DJing and Live PA sets at several underground techno parties in Germany. He co-founded the record label Harmony Recordings in 1993 with DJ Shandy, and they signed the huge Mirco de Govia as their first artist.
After working together on some music for a live performance and realizing they shared an appreciation for the same sounds, they decided to give collaborative production a shot. This led to the release of their debut song, "Let me in," in 1996. They started performing as Kyau vs. Albert from that point on.
In 1997, the two small studios merged to form the music production business "Euphonic," they signed the artists Sonorous (also known as Rough Mullar) and Ronski Speed to their roster. Now that they had the support of so many record labels, the band actively pursued exposure for their unique style. In 2000, WEA (a division of Warner Music) signed Kyau vs. Albert to a long-term contract, marking the beginning of their career in dance music. They quickly gained the backing of prominent DJs like Paul van Dyk, KayCee, Tisto, and many others.
