Justin Wells Information
Justin William Wells (August 11, 1982) is an American roots rock and country music singer and songwriter. He was born in Bossier City, Louisiana, and currently, he lives along with his wife in Lexington, Kentucky. Wells began writings songs and performing while he was in high school. He first moved to Lexington, Kentucky, in 2005, where he intended to start a band, and he founded Fifth on the Floor just a year later. The band self-released two albums, Dark and Bloody Ground in 2010 and The Color of Whiskey in 2007.
Walls released his debut solo album, Dawn in the Distance, on August 5, 2016, produced by Duane Lundy. He also released a single entitled “A Love Song” on August 9, 2018, part of the 10 in 2020 Series, featuring several Grammy-winning and nominated artists such as Justin Craig, Matt Duncan, and Sturgill Simpson.
Later in 2018, Wells also released a physical-only 7” vinyl single that also included a stripped-down version of “The Dogs” as well as a cover of “Mona Lisas and Mad Hatters” by Elton John. Wells released his second studio album entitled, The United State on August 28, 2020, again produced by Duane Lundy.
