Joshua Radin Information
Joshua Radin (June 14, 1974) is an American singer-songwriter from Cleveland, Ohio. Radin studied drawing and painting at Northwestern University; however, after moving to New York City, he developed an interest in music. His father bought him a guitar and taught Radin to play and write music. The American actor, Zach Braff, introduced Radin's first composition entitled "Winter" to Scrubs show creator Bill Lawrence in 2004. Radin's songs were later used in various scenes of the television series.
Radin started his official music career in 2004 with his debut album entitled We Were Here. He toured across the US, UK, and Europe, even sharing the stage with many prominent artists such as Sheryl Crow, Maria Taylor, Gary Jules, Tori Amos, Imogen Heap, Amber Rubarth, Schuyler Fisk, The Script, Meiko, and Missy Higgins.
His 2008 release, Simple Times in the United Kingdom, was another success for Radin after his US success. The album was number 1 on the iTunes overall chart upon its release. Some of his other notable studio albums are The Rock and the Tide 2010, Underwater 2012, Wax Wings 2013, Onward and Sideways 2015, The Fall 2017, and Here, Right Now 2019. Live from the Village (2016) is the only Live album by Radin. He also released a few EPs that are First Between 3rd and 4th (2004), Live Session (iTunes Exclusive EP) (2006), Unclear Sky (iTunes Exclusive EP) (2008), Songs Under a Streetlight EP (2010), and The Rock and the Tide (Acoustic Session) EP (2011). His Way, Our Way (Frank Sinatra tribute album) is another notable compilation appearance by Radin.
