The 2019 publication of Jenny Kern's debut single "Slow Burn" introduced the world to the dreamy indie pop sound of the Canadian-born, Brooklyn-based singer-songwriter. She was featured on MTV, ABC, and The CW in no time and welcomed on her first European tour. Jenny collaborated with producer Andy Seltzer to release the singles "Satellite" and "Now We Know" in the autumn of 2019. (Maggie Rogers, Chelsea Cutler, Valley).
In 2021, she released her first song, "Coming Back For Me," which featured additional production from Andy Seltzer. The 2021 single "Coming Back For Me" has already been played on XPN and NPR's World Cafe thanks to the support of radio icon Bruce Warren. Several Spotify editorial playlists, including Fresh Finds, Indie All Stars, and New Songs Friday, featured Jenny's songs in 2021. These playlists have a combined audience of over 1 million people.
Spin Magazine and Relix highlighted Jenny's four-song EP from last year, "I Never Thought That You Were Listening," because it was created by Carson Cody (Joan, Valley, Evie Irie). She has over a million Spotify streams and three tracks that have reached the top 40 radio airplay charts. Carson Cody will produce Jenny's upcoming EP, and the first song, "Feel It Again," was released in May 2022 with a music video directed by Allison Flom.
