Hyukoh Information
Hyukoh is a South Korean indie band founded in May 2014. The band is signed to DooRooDooRoo Artist Company. It comprises of leader, guitarist, and singer Oh Hyuk, guitarist Lim Hyun-Jae, bassist I'm Dong-geon, and drummer Lee In-woo. Hyukoh is from Seoul, South Korea. It usually follows Indie rock and Indie pop music genres.
All the above-mentioned members joined Oh to form this band, which ended up in the current name “Hyukoh.” On September 18, 2014, the band released their debut EP entitled “20”. This EP was named after the age of the band members. Hyukoh gained popularity in 2015 after participating in the Korean variety program named as “Infinite Challenge.” The second EP released by the band was “22”, again named for the same reason as the previous one.

The band won 7th MelOn Music Awards for the category of Top 10 Artists, Naver Yearly Ranking for Most Downloaded Song, 25th Seoul Music Awards for Performance Culture Award, 30th Golden Disc Awards for Best Rock Band Award, 5th Gaon Chart K-Pop Awards, and a few more. It also got nominated for several awards.
