Daley Padley (September 16, 1982) is a British house music producer and DJ. He has been professionally known as Hot Since 82 since 2012, when he started releasing music under this name. The music stopped playing during an afterparty for Holmfirth in 2010 while Padley was there.
By chance, one of his unfinished projects started playing as he connected his iPhone to the party's speakers. Despite Padley's confession that he hadn't intended to release the track, the enthusiastic reception it received at the party prompted him to reach out to his Danish DJ/Producer buddy Noir, who is the boss of Noir Recordings.
His debut full-length album, Little Black Book, was released in October 2013 on Moda Black Records. It featured remixes of Rudimental and Shadow Child and collaborations with Joe T Vannelli and Thomas Gandey. In 2014, Padley established his record label, Knee Deep in Vibe, to release music by emerging artists with an underground "vinyl" vibe.
On their selection of the top 25 techno and deep house producers in 2013, electronic music website Dancing Astronaut placed Hot Since 82 at number seven. Padley has headlined numerous international electronic music events, such as Creamfields and WMC, and has traveled extensively throughout North America and Europe. The Electronic Music Awards 2017 had a Producer of the Year nomination for Padley. The Even Deeper Brazil documentary, which Padley launched on May 23, 2019, delves into Brazilian dancing culture and more.
