Hot Mulligan is an American emo band. The current lineup comprises Nathan "Tades" Sanville, Chris Freeman, Ryan "Spicy" Malicsi, and Brandon Blakeley. Their debut album, Pilot's License, came out in 2017 and helped them gain a loyal following. With an emo, pop-punk, and alternative rock sound, their songs appeal to the audience through raw, emotional lyrics describing personal hardships and love. Their big break was the album, You'll Be Fine, in 2020, featuring such fan favorites as "Feal Like Crab" and "The Smell of Old People's Houses".
Hot Mulligan has toured with bands such as The Wonder Years and Tiny Moving Parts over the years. Their energetic performances and easy-to-understand songs have earned them popularity within the emo and pop-punk communities. The band's music continues to evolve, remaining true to their roots while exploring new sounds and themes.
In 2025, Hot Mulligan will release their new album, The Sound A Body Makes, on August 22. After the album comes out, they will be off on their fall tour, which begins October 29 in Columbus, Ohio, and concludes December 6 in Detroit. They are also set to play at such festivals as Sea.Hear.Now in Asbury Park and the Four Chord Music Fest in Pittsburgh. It’s a great time for fans to see them live and experience their new music!
