The Ensign Symphony & Chorus is important in the greater Puget Sound area's thriving arts community. Keeping with the tradition of the Tabernacle Choir at Temple Square, the BBC Symphony Chorus, and the Westminster Symphonic Choir, nearly 150 singers and instrumentalists present a varied repertoire of uplifting music. Ensign's goal is to bless and raise people in the broader Puget Sound area by performing uplifting spiritual and secular music at the highest possible level.
Trained in university, church, and community ensembles for decades, the Ensign musicians (led by Steve Danielson and Nathan Rdahl) bring a genuinely affecting enthusiasm to their performances. You may catch an Ensign Symphony & Chorus performance at the prestigious Benaroya Hall in Seattle. Anyone interested in helping forward the goals of the Symphony & Chorus is welcome to try out.
