Edgar Vivar Information
Dr. Édgar Ángel Vivar Villanueva (December 28, 1948) is a Mexican actor from Mexico City. He is the son of Celia Villanueva Falconi and engineer Ángel Vivar. Vivar began his professional career as a theater actor in 1964. He toured across the nation with a few of his plays which gave him meaningful experience in acting. His first two major projects were "Señor Barriga" ("Mr. Beliarge" in Spanish) and the production of El Chavo del 8. Both were international hits and made Vivar become known in Mexico and beyond. He began touring Spain, the US, Latin America, and other nearby places.
Vivar faced major heart issues due to his weight. Due to this, he went to try therapy at a weight-loss clinic. Later in 2006, Vivar appeared in the movie Bandidas where he acted as the bank manager. He was also seen in a telenovela which was made in Argentina named Amarte Asi. Some of his other notable appearances are 1979: El Chanfle, 1982: El Chanfle II, 1983: Don Ratón y Don Ratero, 1983: El más valiente del mundo, 1984: Frankenstein's Great Aunt Tillie, 2007: El orfanato, 2010–2011: Para volver a amar, and 2015: Cementerio General 2 Peruvian film. Vivar also guest starred in La familia P. Luche (la enfermedad de Federica) as a doctor (2012) and in "Requiem for Agustin Lara" at Monterrey Institute of Technology and Higher Education in 2014.
