Canadian-American DJs Dougie and Quasi founded Duck Sauce in New York in 2009. The two DJs, Armand Van Helden from the United States and A-Trak from Canada, have become dance club tour sensations by working together. Their debut track, aNYway, pays respect to their New York City beginnings. Most people recognize them from their 2010 smash tune Barbara Streisand, named after the legendary singer. Glee used their song in an episode. They have been nominated for a Grammy in the United States, thanks to Barbara Streisand. The music video also took home a prize in the United Kingdom and won the International Dance Music Award for Best Underground Dance Track in 2011.
DJs and radio stations across the United States and Europe showed significant support for Duck Sauce, a band that performed House and nu-disco music. The group has been signed by various record companies, including Fool's Gold, Casablanca, Republic, and Ulta.
