Dominic Ross Hunn (August 22, 1984), sometimes known as Dom Kennedy, is an American rapper from Leimert Park in Los Angeles, California. Kennedy has put five solo mixtapes since 2008, most famously his 2010 critically praised mixtape From the Westside with Love. From the Westside with Love II was his first commercial studio album, available on iTunes on June 28, 2011.
Though it was his iTunes debut, FTWSWL2 was Kennedy's first album connected with The OpM Company, Kennedy's self-owned record label. It got "a top 10 spot on Hip Hop/Rap albums chart during its release week". Complex listed his song "My Type of Party" as No. 43 on the Best 50 Songs of 2012 list.
Dom Kennedy linked up with Hit-Boy to form Half-A-Mil, their Hip-Hop combo. Later, they would release three self-titled EPs intermittently dropped from late 2016 to mid-2017. Later, they formally launched their first album, Courtesy Of Half-A-Mil, on November 24, 2017. Kennedy appears on Kehlani's song "Nunya" off her mixtape, While We Wait, in 2019. Additionally, he was featured in the February 20, 2019, music video for the song.
