Khaled Mohammad Khaled (November 26, 1975) is an American record producer, record executive, and DJ. He is professionally known by his stage name, DJ Khaled.
Khaled became prominent as a radio host on the station 99 Jamz in the 1990s and then used his celebrity to act as a DJ for Terror Squad's live concerts. Khaled released his debut album Listennn... the Album in 2006, which received gold certification after obtaining producer credits on the group's material. We the Best (2007) was his follow-up, and it featured the top 20 single "I'm So Hood." His next two albums, We Global (2008) and Victory (2010), were released after creating the We the Best Music Group record label. Both albums scored in the top ten on the US Billboard 200, with the latter featuring the triple platinum-certified hit "All I Do Is Win."
We the Best Forever (2011), Khaled's fifth studio album, was also a commercial success and helped propel him to international stardom since it featured the song "I'm on One," which was one of his first top ten successes. Kiss the Ring and Suffering from Success, his sixth and seventh studio albums, respectively, charted in the top of the Billboard 200, while I Changed a Lot (2015), his eighth studio album, ranked at number 12. Due to his social media engagement in 2015 and 2016, Khaled garnered worldwide notice as a media celebrity. Major Key (2016), his ninth studio album, was released in 2016. It was a critical and commercial success, debuting at number 1 on the Billboard 200, being certified gold, and receiving a Grammy nomination.
