Desertfest NYC Information
One of many festivals held under the DesertFest moniker is Desertfest New York. This annual three-day festival features performances by bands from all over the stoner rock genre. This will be the first event held under the Desertfest brand outside of Europe and will be held at multiple locations in the Brooklyn, New York area.
The first nine performers for Desertfest New York, as well as the festival's preferred Saint Vitus Bar (April 26, 2019) and The Well (April 27, 2019), were revealed on November 27. (27 and 28 April 2019). The initial wave of bands would consist of acts like Windhand, Elder, Monolord, The Skull, The Atomic Bitchwax, Danava, Mirror Queen, Worshipper, and Dommengang.
The second annual DesertFest New York, scheduled for May 13–15, 2022, at The Knockdown Center in Brooklyn, New York, was announced on October 11, 2021. The New York edition of Desertfest would reveal its roster on November 22 and hold a pre-fest at Saint Vitus Bar on May 12. US exclusives, including Orange Goblin, Green Lung, Planet of Zeus, and Stoned Jesus, would be confirmed with headliners like Baroness, High on Fire, and Monster Magnet.
