Deniz Koyu (April 29, 1985) is a Turkish-German electronic dance music producer and DJ. He was born in Bochum, North Rhine-Westphalia, Germany. He has released singles on Spinnin' Records, Axtone, Protocol Recordings, Sony Music, and more record labels, and he has worked with some of the most successful electronic dance music acts, including Alesso, Nicky Romero, Dimitri Vegas & Like Mike, Galantis, and Fedde le Grand.
Among his other notable accomplishments are remixes of songs by David Guetta, Zedd, and Anitta. His fame has brought him a residency at Wynn Las Vegas and appearances on the major stages of festivals such as Tomorrowland, Ultra Miami, EDC, and Creamfields. In 2012, he co-headlined a bus tour with Danny Avila under the moniker Generation Wild, performing in 25 locations across North America over just four weeks.
Throughout his formative years, he was inspired by various electronic music styles, from trance to techno, underground to indie dance pop, disco house to electro house. His formative musical influences included Daft Punk, Michael Jackson, Kraftwerk, and Giorgio Moroder.
