David Adam Byrnes is an American musician who left home when he was only 19 to pursue a career in music. He was born in central Arkansas, from where he moved to Nashville, TN. Fond of country music, Byrnes was willing to deliver his brand to the great Music City. He was fortunate to sign a publishing deal/record deal with the famous Better Angels. The company was going to present some super hit songwriters in the future like Josh Thompson, Ward Davis, Thompson Square, and Matt Rogers.
“Sweet Distraction” was the very first single by Byrnes that brought unexpected success. The song hit number 62 on the Billboard and Top 20 on Music Row. In 2013, he shifted back to his honky tonk country music style. Cody Johnson became his die-hard passion for following when he first heard him on the radio. Soon, Byrnes met Trent Willmon, who produced Cody Johnson, and the two of them began a super hit music relationship. Credit goes to Willmon because Byrnes was able to pen for Cody Johnson several times.
In 2018, his lead single to Texas Radio named “Beer Bucket List” came out in October. The song turned out to be his number one on The Texas Regional Radio Chart. Neon Town was the full album by Byrnes that was released in October 2020. The album made its debut in the iTunes Country Music chart’s Top 5. Byrnes’s music video for this song was nominated for “New Male Vocalist of the Year” at The Texas Regional Radio Awards.
