Dailey and Vincent Information
Dailey and Vincent are a bluegrass music group that has been playing since 2007. The band’s current lineup consists of Jamie Dailey, Darrin Vincent, Aaron McCune, Josh Cobb, Patrick McAvinue, Shaun Richardson, Bob Mummert, Gaven Largent, and Blaine Johnson. Since 2007, Dailey & Vincent have released nine albums in total.
Jamie Daily was the former lead vocalist and guitarist for Doyle Lawson & QuickSilver, whereas Darrin Vincent worked as a musician for the band Kentucky Thunder of Ricky Skaggs. The band released its debut album entitled “Dailey & Vincent” on January 29, 2008, on Rounder Records.
Daily & Vince won approximately thirteen awards from the International Bluegrass Music Association and around twenty-three awards from SPBGMA. The group received a Grammy Award nomination in 2011 for Best Country Performance by a Duo or Group with Vocal. The same year, they won the Dove Award for the Best Bluegrass Album for their album entitled “Singing From The Heart.” The group later received its second Grammy Award nomination for another album in the Best Bluegrass Album category.
Dailey & Vincent have released many notable albums since its inception, including Brothers from Different Mothers (March 31, 2009), Singing from the Heart (October 20, 2009), and Dailey & Vincent Sing the Statler Brothers (February 1, 2010).
