Cruxshadows Information
The Crüxshadows is a band founded in 1992 in Tallahassee, Florida, currently based in Jacksonville, Florida. Its music is defined as pop, rock, dance, trance, synthpop, darkwave, gothic rock, and dance rock. The Crüxshadows were formed by Rogue, Sean Flanagan, and Tim Curry. The current lineup of Crüxshadows consists of "Rogue" – lead vocals, lyrics, violin, keyboards, songwriter; Jen "Pyromantic" Jawidzik – live synths, backing vocals; David Russell Wood – violin, backing vocals; JoHanna Moresco – violin, backing vocals; Jessica Lackey – Live E-drums, backing vocals; and Victoria (Rachel) Whitford – guitars. However, there is a long list of former members.
The Crüxshadows self-released their debut album in 1993, entitled "...night crawls in." ?Ballrooms on Mars? was the following album in 1994. The next album by the group was released in 1995 entitled Telemetry of a Fallen Angel. Some of the other notable albums by the band are The Mystery of the Whisper, Wishfire, Ethernaut, Telemetry of a Fallen Angel (anniversary edition), DreamCypher, and As the Dark Against My Halo.
The Crüxshadows released many hit singles that secured peak positions on charts such as "Tears," "Sophia," "Quicksilver," "Birthday," "Immortal," "As the Dark Against My Halo," "Astromythology," and "Singularities." Some of the EPs released by the group are Until the Voices Fade..., Paradox Addendum, and Fortress in Flames.
