Crown the Empire Information
Crown the Empire is an American metalcore band. The current lineup of the group consists of Jeeves Avalos (drums), Hayden Tree (bass), Brandon Hoover (lead guitar and rhythm guitar), and Andrew “Andy Leo” Rockhold (lead vocals, keyboards, and programming). During their tenure at Colleyville Heritage High School, “Brandon [Hoover] and Austin decided to start jamming together” and created Crown the Empire in early 2010.
On November 29, 2011, this lineup recorded their first EP, Limitless, released on iTunes. The band published a behind-the-scenes look at filming the music video for “Voices” on December 5, 2011. During the video, the band stated that the music video would be released on December 11.
Crown the Empire went on a short tour with A Skylit Drive in March 2012 and performed at the Never Say Never Music Festival. The band would employ the services of their manager Brendan Barone to sing loud vocals during this time. The band teased major news later in March, which became their signing to Rise Records.
The band announced their first headlining tour, The Generation Now Tour, on March 11, 2013, which began on May 7 in Ohio and ended on May 26 in Oklahoma, with support groups Capture, Palisades, Heartist, and Famous Last Words.
