Crooked Colours Information
Crooked Colours is a 2013 formation from Perth, Western Australia, performing alternative dance music. Phil Slabber, Leon Debaughn, and Liam Merrett-Park make up the band. "Langata" was their most successful album, hitting number one on Australia's ARIA Dance Album Charts. The three-piece electronic live band evolved from its humble beginnings as home party DJs.
The Falls Festival, Bonnaroo, Beyond The Valley, Splendour In The Grass, Spilt Milk, and Groovin The Moo are just a few of the numerous festivals and events that Crooked Colours has played at. Sweat It Out released their first album, "Vera," on June 23, 2017. With moderate success, the album peaked at 68 on the ARIA Charts and was available in many forms, including CD, LP, digital download, and streaming.
Their most recent studio album, "Tomorrows," was released on September 23, 2022, and it was distributed simultaneously by Sweat It Out and Atlantic Records, which are joint record companies. Because it is the duo's first album to be released under Atlantic Records, this record is an important milestone for the act.
