CRi - Christophe Dube Information
Christophe Dubé is a Canadian electronic artist from the province of Quebec. He performs under the stage name CRi. Before releasing his debut extended play as an electronic musician in 2013, he had previously worked as a beatboxer for the local hip-hop group Feuilles et Racines. He is originally from Quebec City. Before he followed it up with the extended plays, Tell Her in 2016, Someone Else in 2017, and Initial in 2019, he recorded various tunes published on their own and remixes for other artists.
Covering Daniel Bélanger's "Fous n'importe où" was a project that CRi and Charlotte Cardin worked on in 2019. In 2020, he published Juvenile, which was his first full-length album. On the tune "Signal," which featured Bélanger as a guest vocalist, Juvenile was released.
At the Juno Awards in 2018, Someone Else was nominated for the Juno Award for Electronic Album of the Year, and Juvenile was nominated for the Juno Award for Electronic Album of the Year at the Juno Awards in 2021. Alexa-Jeanne Dubé, a well-known actress and filmmaker, is his sister.
