Craig Wiseman Information
Craig Wiseman is an American country music producer and songwriter. He was born in Hattiesburg, Mississippi. He showed early interest in music and pursued a career as a professional drummer. He moved to Music City in '85 to try his hand at songwriting. Craig, at 24 years old, scored his first Top 40 hit with Roy Orbison's "The Only One" from the album Mystery Girl. Wiseman began his career in the music industry in 1990 when he was signed to the label Almo/Irving Music.
A new publishing deal with BMG Music Publishing was negotiated by Wiseman in the year 2000. The British pop artist Beverley Knight's "Shoulda Woulda Coulda" was one of the 22 singles he composed or co-authored during his three years with BMG. He was ranked as one of the year's top two country songwriters by Billboard in 2002. Wiseman's career as a songwriter has developed further since then. He has more than 300 album cuts and 100 single releases to his name, with 26 of them reaching the top spot on the Country, Rock, and Adult Contemporary charts.
Wiseman co-founded the all-encompassing music company Big Loud Mountain Publishing and Management in 2011 with producer Joey Moi and artist managers Kevin "Chief" Zaruk and Seth England. The partners established Big Loud Records as a new branch in 2015, and then in 2017, they consolidated the three businesses (along with the recently established Big Loud Capital) to form Big Loud.
